Obituary of Arlene M. Casey

     Arlene M. (Morrison) Casey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27th, at the Age of 96.

     Arlene was born in Syracuse. She was a very proud former employee of Syracuse Pottery. She married her husband, Jack, in 1947 and was a truly devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved baking, crocheting, watching classic movies and playing Bingo and cards. She had a strong attachment to St. Lucy's Parish, where she was a long-time parishioner. In recent years, Arlene enjoyed attending St. Camillus Social Day Program and participating in activities with others.

    Arlene was predeceased by her parents Charles and Martha Morrison and her husband of fifty-seven years, John L. Casey, in 2005

     Arlene is survived by her three children; daughters, Kathleen (Jack) Bonner and Patricia (Bob) Toohey, and son, Jack Casey; brother, Robert (Josephine) Morrison; granddaughter, Erin (Brad) Watson; two great grandsons, Alec and Zachary Watson; her cousin, Catherine Godzwon , and several nieces and nephews.

      A service will be held Saturday December 30, 2017 at 10:15am at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 8:30am- 10:15am. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
