Steve and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear today that Sally passed away. I worked with Sally for 2 years and she was one of the friendliest, funniest, compassionate people I've ever worked with. She was comforting company in an extremely dysfunctional environment and I like to think we helped keep each other grounded while we were there. We kept in touch after we both left, but I never even knew she was sick. I will miss seeing her proud photos of Carly on Facebook, and keeping up with what she was doing in retirement, but mostly I'll miss her friendship. I'm so sorry.

Dear Steve and family,
You probably don't remember us. We had a place in Sand Bay and have been very good friends with Sam and Linda for many years. We speak to them regularly- just last week as a matter of fact. In all our conversations, now and throughout all the years, we are reminded of the great love Sally had for you, her children and her grandchild and the closeness she had with Linda. Linda and I often spoke of Sally's delight in her growing family that Linda shared with her. We are certain you are all devastated and our hearts are broken to think you have all this pain and suffering and huge loss. We have no words to ease any of this for you. But there is one thing we hope you remember and hold close. Sally loved all of you and you loved her. You knew it and she knew it. It doesn't get any better than that, in our opinion.

I worked with Sally in the Chronic Disease self managrmrnt course. As a peer leader, Sally was always there to provide support to us. The coordination for our work was so well done and Sally made it look effortless.
We all missed her when she retired and are saddened that she had to endure the cancer.
While death ends a life it can never end a relationship.
May you hear the sound of her laughter and feel her presence in your hearts forever.
