Obituary of Terry Nicholson

Terrance Nicholson of Syracuse, New York died peacefully at Hospice House in Venice, Florida after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife Joanne, his brother Timothy (Sharon) of Plano, Texas, sister-in-law Rosemary Stapleton (Andrew Cole), Susan Drapela (Larry), brother-in-law Robert Stapleton (Beth Wallbridge); several nieces and nephews, Michelle Barber (Kevin), Lori Henke (Bryan), Timothy Nicholson (Jennifer), Beth Ann Lucas (Paul), Travis Nicholson (Amy), Sean Stapleton, Kyle Stapleton, Laura Carney (William), Dan Cole (Therese) and eleven great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Dolan and Mary Nicholson. Terry was a graduate of Corcoran High School. He served his country as a Medic in the Air Force, stationed in Korea and Homestead AFB in Florida. He was employed by Irish Construction Co., Clemett & Co. and was a sales rep for TR2 Corporation. He loved his family, friends, golf, his home and boat on Otisco Lake and his home in Venice, Florida. His "Terryisms" will be missed by his many friends and family. Services will be held Monday, January 6th at 12:00 pm at St. Patrick's Church, Route 80, Otisco. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, January 5th 2-5pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse, NY. A donation may be made in his name to St. Patrick's Church in Otisco, New York or Hospice of Central New York.
