The Central Legal Research Staff from the Appellate Division, Fourth Department wish to express their deepest condolences to Justice Lawton's family and friends. He will be greatly remembered by those he worked with here at the Fourth Department during his twenty years of service on the Court. Moreover, his legacy, particularly his deep and abiding commitment to the tapestry of the law, will be remembered in the jurisprudence of this State for years to come. Again, we wish to express our deepest sympathy on this sad occasion.
