Obituary of Florence "Flo" Notman

Florence (Flo) Notman, 88, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday at St. Camillus. She was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and resided in Liverpool for most of her life. Florence was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend. She loved to sew, was an avid sports fan that enjoyed watching Syracuse basketball and could always be found reading a good book. Florence was pre-deceased by her husband, Russell J. Notman. She is survived by her two sons, John (Anne) Notman of Lakeland and James (Mari) Notman of Mansfield, TX; one daughter, Nancy (Richard) O'Campo of Greenville, NC; sister-in-law, Phyllis Barth of Florida; brother-in-law, James Wood of Ohio; and six grandchildren, Kelly, Robert, Dineen, Eric, Katie & Sydney, who meant the world to her along with her long-time friend, Florence Gapski and grand dogs, Mulligan & Blarney. Services will be on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 9am at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be 2-4pm Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Durrell and the rest of the employees in C-Unit at the Centers of St. Camillus for their care of Florence over the past 5 years.
