Tom & I are very sorry for the loss of your mother and hope that time will help to ease your sorrow. Peg was always the gracious host making us feel welcome whether at home or at camp. I'll fondly remember Peg's gravel voice, her love of creme dementhe, playing cards on the front porch, Ralph taking us for pontoon rides on Otisco Lake, cutting out paper lace & stringing cranberries to decorate your christmas tree at the house on Skyline. Last night I went through a box of old photos and found several I'd love to share but they're too large to attach. Sail, I found (2) B&W photos you took at camp. If you give me your address (myFacebook "messages") I'll send them to you:-)

What I have always loved and appreciated about the Taylor family is that they have accepted me into their family as if I were born into it. For as long as I can remember, I've thought as Granny as my own grandmother and she, in turn, has always welcomed me as her granddaughter. I would always look forward to seeing her, knowing that she'd be putting a smile on my face with her funny stories and her perfectly-timed sass. Whenever everyone was together, she would sit there watching everyone be silly with a huge smile, her whole face lit up, and you could tell just by looking at her how much she loved her family. She was strong, feisty, caring, and endlessly quotable, and I will always cherish the memories I have of her.

Well Mama, I would like to thank you for all your Pegism's that we all have to remember you by. The laughs, fun, and sometimes a little scared experiences will be special to keep for a lifetime. Please try not to give them too much of a hard time at first. Just remember that they address you as Reverend Mother. May you RIP.
