That can be said of Jackie Coley, a person who so elegantly graced a room with her own brand of perfection, whether she was outfitted in her iconic style, seamlessly gathering social notes to write her column, or generating a theater audience. Coincidence or uncanny connection—the characteristics of this distinguished doyenne are also shared by another great who passed on his birthday, William Shakespeare.

Caroline..I so fondly remember your beautiful Mother. She was such a breath of fresh air and brought glamour with her everywhere she went.
She was so kind to me and so encouraging to my son Joey as he made his way in community theatre in Syracuse.
She was a Syracuse tradition like the Landmark and Hotel Syracuse in their glory days. The stars will not shine quite as bright in our city til she gets to Heaven and shines down on us.
