Obituary of Francis R. Peters Sr.

Francis R. "Frank" Peters, Sr., 69, died peacefully in his home October 31 after a long illness. Francis was born February 16, 1945. He served our country in Vietnam, with the United States Army where he earned a purple heart in combat. He retired from the Pepsi Cola Corporation after 31 years as a head mechanic and line foreman in 1993. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Francis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ethel A. Peters (Sawyer); two Daughters, Kasey M. Stukey and Julie C. Wirf; a son Francis R. Peters Jr.; four grandchildren, Sierra and Jesse Stukey and Raegan and Jacob Wirf; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. In lieu of a funeral the family will be hosting a celebration of life on November 8th at 4:30 pm at the Phoenix VFW on 70 Culvert St, Phoenix NY. No cards or flowers please just a dish to pass and your memories.
