We only knew Kathryn Carey vicariously through the stories related to us by Father Carey. Our major sentiment at the time of the passing of this admirable lady is one of heartfelt gratitude for having brought into this world our pastor and spiritual leader, James H Carey. Thank you Kathryn for raising him and your other children (plus grands and greats) in a loving home infused with Catholic principles and values. Kathryn, may all of your relatives and friends continue to emulate the love-infused precepts that guided your life. Our sympathies are with those of you who have to say farewell to her physical presence. May you experience her spiritual companionship until you meet again.
