Obituary of James F. Condon

James F. Condon Sr., 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 16, 2015. He has joined his beloved wife, Patricia in eternal peace. Jim graduated from St. Anthony's before joining the US Navy. He retired from Niagara Mohawk after 40 years, was currently employed at Clos Hearse Service and was a parishioner at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church. Jim is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Thomas, Herbert and Robert, and his sister, Rita. He is survived by his sister, Mary (Jack) Clancy of Tonawanda, his children, James Jr., Barbara (James) Jordan, Joseph, David (MaryBeth), Maryann Evans (Steve Skurpski), Kelly, and Jennifer, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Services will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Rd, Syracuse, NY 13224. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Agnes. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church.
