Obituary of Virginia M LaManche

Virginia M. LaManche, 94, of Syracuse passed away on December 13, 2015. She was the daughter of Ella (Stark) and Leonard LaManche. Ginny was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and retired from R.E. Dietz Co. after 45 years in the accounting office. She went to St. John Evangelist School and was a member of the Magnarelli - McChesney Senior Center, The St. Daniel's Wisdom Group, and The Syracuse Elks 31. She enjoyed traveling and family gatherings. After retirement Ginny was a lunch aide at several city schools. She was an aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt to more than 60 nieces and nephews. Ginny was predeceased by her siblings; Frances Anderson, Helen Bjorklund, Col. Philp L. LaManche, Leonard J. LaManche and George Lamanche. She is survived by her sisters, Eleanor O'Connor and Rose Marie McArdle of Syracuse, several nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. A memorial mass will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00 am at Assumption Church, North Salina St. Burial with Elks 31 graveside services will be in Assumption Cemetery.
