I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Somehow I also missed your father passing, and I feel very badly about that. I won't be able to pay my respects to your mother as well, as my son-in-law's father passed, too, and his calling hours and funeral coincide with hers. Your parents were both wonderful people and a pleasure to be with.

Alan and Sean, and the rest of the family. I was so sorry to learn that your mom had passed away. I am glad that you had the opportunity to be with her and to let her feel your love before she passed. To The Johnston Family, Your mom was one of a kind, from the 1st time I met her at Smorols, we became friends, Alice always smiling and so easy to be around, we had a lot of fun. So many great memories of Mrs. J. Like the New Years Eve we all went to Vernon and she packed what I thought was salad dressing in her "Seven Seas" Italian dressing bottle. While we were driving to Vernon, she took the bottle out and I said, "Oh Mrs. J, you brought your own salad dressing, how nice" She smiled at me with that smile and winked and said, "Oh Bridgie". Well, then of course she pulled out a cup, poured some "salad dressing" in it and drank it. Yeah it didn't smell like salad dressing. Also it was the early 90's. I may or may not have been drunk already. Sooooo, soooo many funny memories. I will miss her and her sage wisdom, her lovely smile, her laugh. I always admired her love and devotion to her family.
