Obituary of Jack Bataglia

Jack (John) Bataglia, 73, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Friday at home after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Syracuse. Jack was born to Frank and Mary (Robinson) Bataglia, and graduated from Eastwood High School in 1961. Jack's career included time at Loblaw's, P&C, and management at Peter's Groceries. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick on Tipp Hill. Jack is lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne; daughters, Mary Theresa (Ted) Davis, Mary Beth (Scott) MacBain, & Mary Anne (Michael) Stella, and five grandchildren, Katie, Ben, Scotty, Sydney and Laura. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, from 9 to 10 am at St Patrick Church, 216 N Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY, followed by a service at 10 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Nazareth Farms, Salem WV and St. Patrick's Heritage Foundation.
