Obituary of Kieran P. Fitzpatrick

Kieran P. Fitzpatrick, 85, of Syracuse, NY passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 with family by his side. Kieran was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland and came to the US in 1956.   He did masonry work for Allied Chemical for 26 years and was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and Our Lady of Hope Church. 

Kieran is predeceased by his parents and six siblings in Ireland.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years Josephine, children, Michael, Patrick, Peg (Rollin) Mincher, Sean, and Maureen (Mark) Edlund, 2 grandchildren, Shamus and Kiera Edlund, brother, Martin, sister, Bridie Shanahan, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 10am at Our Lady of Hope Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
