Obituary of Wava M. Prugger

Wava M. Prugger, 93 of Syracuse, NY passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018.  A dedicated housewife, Wava was married for 65 years to John at his time of passing in 2007.  She was a past communicant of St. Anthony’s, Our Lady of Lourdes and Most Holy Rosary Churches.  Wava was a member of the Altar and Rosary Societies.  She liked cooking, canning, sewing and gardening.  She especially loved spring flowers and roses.

Wava is predeceased by her husband, John and sons, Edwin, Ralph, Paul and Joseph.  She is survived by her sons, Edward, Daniel and Robert (Linda), 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, her siblings, Walter Humphrey, Shirley Stitch, and Dorothy Harrington and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Hope.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
