I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful person. I had the great fortune of working with Jack at Bond, Schoeneck and King for many years and can certainly vouch for the statement in his obituary "Never did a kinder man walk the earth. Jack was a true gentleman who genuinely impacted the lives of many people with his kindness and consideration for others..." It was a lovely tribute to a man that will be greatly missed!

Dear Family:
I was so sad to see that Jack had passed.
I got to know your Father as a Summer Associate at BS&K in the Summer of 1983. He was such an outstanding lawyer, but first and foremost a gentleman. I did not join Bond after law school, but Jack's influence has stayed with me for my life and career. I was fortunate enough to work with both Judges Richard Simons and Stewart Hancock. They are my role models, but you Father was one too right with them. It can be said about all 3 that they were excellent lawyers, but they were even better men. I once played golf with all three men at Cazenovia CC (the Hancock course) and enjoyed it thoroughly and was reminded of how nice your Father was.

"Never did a kinder man walk the earth" is so true. I had the pleasure of working at Bond with him for over 30 years. Always a gentleman; always interested in what was going on with everyone. I loved Dodie too. What a great couple, who are now together again. I'll miss you Mr. Dee! My sympathies to the Dee family.

To Jack's family: For 35 years I was in the Claims Dept at National Grange Insurance Company & met Jack early on in my career. He successfuly defended many cases for us over the years & he & I worked closely together on several of them. I remember one case in particular when I went to his corner office in Linconld Center to discuss our strategy (in truth, Jack was going to tell me what our strategy would be: there was little "discussion") & I saw several boxes of discovery & investigation on the floor. He said: "Peter, this case has taken on a life of its own." His obituary mentioned that he was kind which may be a gross understatement. He brought a new definition to the word. I recall talking to him about Sally's professional career & how happy he was to caddy for her. My professional carreer was greatly enhanced by his guidance & friendship which I will always value. I regret that I will be unable to pay my final respects to him in person. My deepest & heartfelt sympathy is extended to you, his survivors. I will remember you in my prayers in this time of your sorrow. Peter E. White
