Dearest Lorraine, I waS so sad to see the loss of John. Have been neighbors for years and we may have not
been social with you but. The times we saw each other n church or elsewhere I always felt a warm connection . A smile a small conversation , prayers when either of our families were in trouble. We always knew you were there for us no matter what. You and John.
Please know your friendship meant a lot to Frank and I and our kids.. I even think Mike Delong or his wife at that time Robin worked for you in insurance.

Will always remember his early morning golf at Westvale GC. As I would be putting in the whole markers we would go over the day before game with the Boston Red Sox. As we all know of his love for the "Sox". His love and dedication will never be forgotten. Will miss our weekly talks re: the Red Sox and his love for his grandson about his future in golf. My parents were fortunate enough to move across from you and what wonderful friends you became. I know my parents were there to greet Mr. Gruninger when he crossed over with open arms. My heart breaks for you because I know what a loss this is ... Mr. Gruninger was a kind, thoughtful man with a great sense of humor ... a true gentleman. John - You meant more to me than words can ever express. Our 44 year relationship was always something very special. To this day when I mention your name to my mother she'll say "I was always so glad you had a positive male role model in your life", I have so many great memories from our times together that I can't even begin to list them all here. Lorraine, John, Michael, Brian, Kenneth, Donna, and Linda:
Please know that we share your grief at John's passing. John was an unshakeable friend and companion, the best of the best. Ted and Sheila spent many a happy evening with them in Bradenton at the club. When Ted went into the hospital, recently, John was one of the first to call, and kept up with him. When we checked Ted's cell phone, we could almost always be sure of a call from John, usually unanswered since Ted has had some difficulty with the cell phone these days.
We all remember. We will miss him, almost as much as you. Thank you for sharing him with us. Your family is in our prayers tonight and always.

So very sorry to hear of John's passing. My Mom and Dad lived across the street and I have heard countless times how wonderful your husband and father was. He welcomed them to the neighborhood back in the 80's and outside of the fact that your Dad was a Boston Red Sox fan and my Dad was a Yankee fan they were great friends.
