We are very sorry for your loss, we worked with Tom and he was an amazing man. He always spoke about his children and how much he loved being a father. We knew him a short time but we very much enjoyed getting to know Tom and spending time with him at work. So sorry and shocked to hear about Tom's passing.
All of my thoughts and prayers and condolences to the Halleck family.
I worked with Tom at the International Business Times. And though we only knew each other at work, I instantly got a sense of his decency and integrity. Always ready with a smile and a great attitude, he really was a pleasure to work with.
I remember how excited he was about the death of his first-born - how proud he was and so delighted to be a father.
He will be missed by many, whose hearts were touched by his life.

The world is a darker place without Tom in it. I knew him when he was a fun-loving teenager and a college journalism student, sharing what insight I had as an adult in his chosen field and laughing together about family and politics; comic books and life. I hired him when I ran communications for the State Fair because I knew his talent, trusted his dedication saw his great potential. And as his career grew and expanded, as his heart embraced a beautiful new family in addition to his already sprawling network of family and friends, my heart swelled with joy and pride for this young man. And now, like so, so many others, my heart is broken.
Rest in peace Tom. Knowing you made all of our lives brighter.
