Obituary of Jane C. Kupp

Jane C. Kupp, 80, of Westvale, passed away on Tuesday, May 07, 2019.  She was a personnel administrator for the City of Syracuse’s DPW, Syracuse Housing Authority and Onondaga County DOT.  Jane was a life long lover of music and sang baratone with the Spirit of Syracuse Show Chorus.  She directed numerous church choirs.  Jane enjoyed dining out with her friends, gardening and audiobooks (provided by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically handicapped), and travelling.  Memorable trips included an Alaskan cruise with a friend, and trips with her husband to Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and many trips to the Carribean. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Archie and Gladys Koon and brother, Archie (Virginia) Koon.

Jane is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Bob (Victoria) Guiles, Pete (Carol) Guiles, Katharine (Geoffrey) Ellis, Donna (Rick) Farchione, and Jennifer (Randall) Skates, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother, Peter (Betsey) Koon, and several nieces and nephews.

Jane donated her body to Upstate’s Anatomical Donation Program. Calling hours will be Saturday, May 11^th from 10:00 – 11:30 am, followed by a service of reflection and remembrance, at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.
