Obituary of Lulu A. Bea
Lulu Bea of Syracuse passed away peacefully at Menorah Park on May 22nd aged 92. Lulu was born in the Bronx and graduated from NYU as a licensed certified public accountant. The family moved to Syracuse from Pulaski in 1965. She worked in the non-profit sector devoting years as comptroller for the YWCA, accountant at The Volunteer Center and Rape Crisis Center until her retirement at 79. She is predeceased by her husband, Karl J. Bea and survived by her daughters, Rasann (Roz) Bea and Victoria Walters. She was an avid reader, gardener and bird watcher.
A celebration of her life will be held at Fairmount Community Church at 2 p.m. on June 22nd. The family wishes to thank the staff at Menorah Park for the compassionate care given to Lulu.
