Julie was my Light in the dark. She taught me so many things. She showed me the love of a family. I think of Her often and my childhood memories of her. We cooked many dinners together , well She let me help! All the boys tube socks we matched...hahaha!!! Holy Family basketball games!
I love You!

To all the Fletch's in the Fletcher family
Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. It seems like such a short time ago we were all running around LeMoyne in various years of doing what ever we were doing at the time. Mostly causing trouble!
We are very sorry for your loss.

My mother, Pollyann Schwarz Wilson, grew up with Julia. I heard many stories about their growing up. It sounded like they had pretty much the ideal childhood and youth. RIP

To all the Fletcher family:
Please accept my deepest sympathies upon the passing of you mother – especially at this moment when friends and family can no longer offer a simple handshake or hug. No doubt, she was likely the #1 fan of CBA and LeMoyne athletic events for many years as she, along with your father, followed the accounts of several of her sons. Although words are never enough, I’ll offer this simple, prayerful part of a lengthier poem -- in hopes it provides some comfort:
“Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
Perhaps my time seems all too brief;
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free!”

Fifteen years ago, Julia and her good friend and neighbor, Virginia Gildea, welcomed us to Annes Grove in Camillus. They organized an informal ladies bridge foursome, where less skilled players could relax and learn.
About five years ago, Julia moved to an assisted living facility which was a loss for us and Annes Grove.
We were blessed to know Julia. Our condolences to her family.
