Obituary of Frances L. Riley Bistrovich

Frances L. (Riley) Bistrovich, 86, of Syracuse passed away Thursday November 5, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. Fran was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker with a feisty sense of humor. She loved gardening, reading, and talking to people. Fran was known to have a sweet tooth for chocolate. She loved to travel to Atlantic city to visit her daughters and play the slots. Fran also enjoyed her winter trips to Florida with her son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Patti, and cherished all the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husbands; Rudolph Bistrovich, Sr. and Edward G. Riley.

Fran is survived by her children, Robert (Patricia) Riley, Cynthia (Tony) Cantanio and Deborah (Donald) Chew; grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Andrew and Adam, and great-grandchildren; Matthew & Reese Murphy.

At her request there will be no service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
