Obituary of Helen V. Marzewski

Helen V. Marzewski, 92, of Syracuse passed away Friday, February 5, 2021.

Helen was born in Bloomfield, N.J in 1928 to the late Maximillian and Sophie Sajdera. She spent 35 years as an administrative assistant for the American Federation of Musicians Union. She was a member of the Onondaga Senior Center, President of the Polish American Club in N.J., had her own catering business. Helen was an avid traveler having been all over the world and was known for her hobbies as she was very crafty.

Helen is predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Thaddeus A. Marzewski.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Steve) Pari, grandchildren, Nicole Boland and Michael Boland, great-grandchildren, Marijane Mackenzie, Justin, Jacob and Miley as well as siblings, Michael (Elsie) Sajdera and Diane (William) Hanley.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse. Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm prior to the service. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J.
