To all of the Dwyer family; my most sincere condolences on the loss of Kathleen. I am very privileged to have known and worked for your parents for so many years. I can tell you that the happiness and success of their family was always there paramount concern. I greatly admired your mothers faith and determination. We were so lucky to have mothers of great strength and purpose. Your mother was someone who supported me in my career and I will never forget that. That wonderful smile. Nothing like it. Filled the room. Radiance different than sunlight. Remembering that since we were lake kids together. Many years later she anchored the early work of the Tioughninoga Lake Preservation Foundation. The effort holds. She was my friend. The memory of her steady, daily walks across the dam...with her hands facing back back...won't go away. t was so like her. Keep a hand in what is behind you and you go forward. My condolences to the entire Dwyer family and to all those who loved Kathleen.
I only met Mrs. Dwyer once while helping to chaperone a John T. Roberts 4th grade field trip to Boldt Castle and the Thousand Islands. Her grace and charm were readily evident and her love for people was obvious. Mrs. Dwyer’s personal engagement and philanthropy to her neighborhood schools, organizations and community were a testament to her deep Christian faith.
