Obituary of Anne Clancy

Anne M Clancy (Pasho), 87, of Fairmount was called home to Heaven on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Born in Split Rock to the late Lawrence and Helen Clancy, she lived in the Syracuse area her whole life. 

Anne was a graduate of Cathedral High School. She was employed by John L. Clancy Insurance Agency and O'Hara and Plunkett Insurance Agency, retiring in 1999. Anne was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. 

Anne was predeceased by her brothers, Dick, Bill, Frank and Jim Clancy, and sisters, Mary, Betty and Helen Clancy, Grace Gogates, Kate Brown, Eleanor McCarthy, and Patricia DeMark. 

She was a loving mother to her daughters, Becky (the late Timothy) Horton of Troy, NY, Debbie (Edward) Levinstein of Castile, NY and Kathleen (Bill) Burke of Baldwinsville, NY. She was the proud grandmother of Shannon (Samuel) Etter, Steven Horton, Brian (Lacey) Carpenter, Kaitlin Horton, Amanda Wells, Ryan Wells and Kelly Burke, and adoring "Gramma Gramma" to Hayden, Brodie, Rylin, Slevin and Walker.  Also surviving are her sisters, Margaret (Raymond) Garzia of Onondaga Hill, and Becky (the late Luther) Everson of Rochester, NY; brothers-in-law, Dan (Theresa) Brown of Skaneateles and William "Bid" McCarthy of Camillus and many nieces and nephews. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 10am  at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 1 to 4pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Syracuse, NY.  Anne will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery at the family's convenience.
