Just a few of my most cherished memories with grandma are the simple moments we had. Watching the travel channel, listening to her tell me about a city overseas. She carried a little paintbrush in her purse to always keep a tidy table, lots of great pens which she would highlight the farmers almanac with. She loved viva paper towels and usually had a few on her at all times. I took my first flight with her, she was a great childhood companion and grandma. Grandma loved to learn new things, had a positive, warm energy and I can still hear her saying “really?!” inquisitively. In my childhood, I’d see grandma several times a week, we never did anything extraordinary in those days, but she was a great story-teller and lover of travel, we just kind of hung out and spent days together. I know she has a special connection to many people and will be remembered lovingly.
