To Dear Mary, Katy, Kerry and whanau,
Love from our family to yours from New Zealand as we remember a loving and constant servant of God.
Dick and your family treated our plowshares community as family - you housed and fed us and I remember your home full of joy and stories!
We were lucky to meet again in New Zealand for what was for a special time with Dick and Mary.
We here in New Zealand who knew Dick and were inspired by a long life of service to family, community, the poor and social justice mourn his passing. We will remember him whenever a weapon is disarmed and a prisoner is given comfort.
Kia kaha whanau. Haere ra brother.
