Mother Dot, Shari Rife and all the Rifes,
Thank you for your words of condolence and your memories of Jen. I remember what you remember - we all do.
Forty years ago we gathered to mourn another life cut short, David Rife, Jr. We still talk about him to this day. We remember his brilliance, his positivity and kindness, his humor that was guaranteed to make you laugh, and let’s not forget his wholesome good looks! He touched so many lives in his brief time on earth and brought us all together as family. Nobody can match your family for making someone feel special.
I am sure that Jennifer remembered how it felt to laugh with the Rife family and to be loved by each and every one of you. Her children, Mylinh and Mason, should hear these stories and know that their mother was loved and that her life mattered to so many. It is so hard to say goodbye so soon, but it is comforting to know that you share in our sorrow and that the good things will help heal the hurt in time.
