My condolences to Matt’s family. We went to Assumption together and also hung out often at the Limp Lizard. He was so easy to talk to and had such a kind soul. I will miss him very much. Rest in Peace my friend.

As a K thru 12th Grade Assumption student, it was a pleasure having Matt join our school after Most Holy Rosary closed. He was always such a kind and warm person with a genuine friendly manner. May he rest in the Peace of God, and may his family have comfort in knowing that he is in good hands now with the Lord. My condolences to his family and friends.

I met Matt at Assumption as both Rosary and Baptist closed. Matt was one of the easiest people to engage with and made becoming friends simple. Enjoyed conversations and laughs we would share as we would occasionally touch on the rivalry that once existed between the two schools. We shared a ton of laughs as we finished our high school years. Matt was a great guy . May God keep him and his family in the warmth of His love.

Mike, Lisa and the Kompf family, i am so sorry for your loss. I had so much fun growing up with Matt, we had a great neighborhood with great families. I cherish my time spent running thru the woods, playing basketball, going to the park and just enjoying each others company. Matt was always a fun and kind person and the memories that i have of time spent with him brings a smile to my face and laughter in my heart. A true childhood treasure, may he rest in peace.
