Marki, it's Linda Wachna ~ I have felt/been like extended family since your Teta Olia and I were swinging in your Dido's garage when we were but, children. SO much life has gone by, and although I didn't see you much, I was always asking how you were doing, and what you've been up to, and I always was happy to see you at all your family's gatherings. I DO remember visiting you in the hospital quite a few years ago (sorry, now that I'm an "old fart," I'm not good at remembering as well.) You were ALWAYS my favorite, cutest (don't tell my brothers!) altar boy in church. You grew up into a very kind, caring, sweet, and humble soul. I would've liked to experience more of your humor some people are saying you had. Never forget your smile...
My heart was broken to hear the news of your passing. I, however, knew of your tough journey, and am comforted that you are now, with the angels. I DO believe God saw you'd experienced enough pain, and He was ready to call you Home. May our Good Lord hold you in the Palm of His hand.
To the Dopiwka Family ~ I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers through this painfully heart-breaking time, and in the days, and moths ahead. Please, do not ever hesitate to let me know if there's EVER, ANYTHING I can do for you and your family.

Marki,
I was so proud to witness the courage and strength you had during your last days, when you were in the hospital. I was honored to spend time with you, and will always cherish those last days of your life...after having suffered for so long, your Teta Olia is glad you're not suffering anymore...
My nephew Marki will always be remembered by me as a sweet, kind and gentle soul. He was always reverent to me and kind to my daughter and I. He had a hard life and his health issues in his later years caused him great pain. He suffered a long hard battle. Eventually he was no longer able to fight and went to God on July 22nd.
To me, Marki was a quiet man, a man of few words. He was sincere and had a big heart and funny. He loved his family, but he also had a special place in his heart for his grandmother (baba). His younger years were surrounded by his immediate and extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins). I remember how he always wore his baseball cap backwards and that cute grin.
Marki, Chrissey and I will always remember you in a loving way. May God keep you in his arms. Know that you are loved by family and friends. Say hi to “baba” and “dido”.
