Obituary of David M. Seabrook
David M. Seabrook of Camillus passed away suddenly at the age of 61 at Crouse Hospital on Friday, October 20, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Westvale, Dave was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Westhill High School. While at Westhill he met the love of his life, Toni Bissi, whom he married four years later and had two children with, Alan and Emily.
Dave lived an adventurous and generous life. When he wasn’t working as a Patternmaker he enjoyed going for rides in his Mustang. Dave also enjoyed vacationing with his wife, which included seeing historical places and going on factory tours. His favorite sites to see were waterfalls across NY, many of which he saw while hiking with Emily. He would drop everything to help someone in need, whether that meant snow blowing a driveway, washing a car, or renovating his childhood home with Alan. When the weather was nice, you could find Dave mowing and manicuring his cherished lawn.
He was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Shirley Seabrook.
Dave is survived by his wife of 39 years, Toni, children, Alan Seabrook (Gillian Vaughn) and Emily (Timothy) Carapella, brother, Paul (Wendy) Seabrook, his aunts, Jeanie (James) Becker and Geraldine DeGroot (Haley Booth), uncle, Evans (Mariz) House and many nieces and nephews.
His calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023 at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 West Genesee St. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross, where Dave donated 25 gallons of blood throughout his life.
