We only met Mary through Christmas and Thanksgiving family get togethers here in Utah. We would all say hello through FaceTime and John enjoyed taking a family portrait to send to her. She sounds like a wonderful woman, and the world was blessed to have her for 100 years I would have liked to know her, and I’m grateful for this obituary that told some of the highlights of her life

To Mary's family. It was my pleasure to be the Director of Volunteer Services at Community General Hospital during the time of 2003 to 2008 while Mary was a volunteer. What a most pleasant person - - -and so dependable. It never failed - - she was there every week - - -I think on Fridays. I used to say this hospital couldn't function without its volunteers, and Mary was a main reason why. Please accept my condolences. May she now be resting in peace. John Scala

To Mary's family,
Doris and I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to you.
We were next door neighbors on Countryside Drive for a number of years.
Mrs. Lascaris was always such a pleasure to be around. Her warmth and charm left a lasting impression on us. We've never had as nice a person living next door since.

My most sincere condolences to the entire Lascaris family.
Mary was a wonderful bright woman who I visited often at Summerfield Village over the past few years. Mary loved to discuss world affairs, politics, sports, religion and whatever else was going on in the world at the time of my visits.
Most importantly Mary loved her family and spoke with such pride about each of them.
I shall miss Mary and our visits. Mary was such an inspiration to me and a great model of how to grow old gracefully.
Mary, rest in peace after a long life lived so well!

Dear Lascaris Family, Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your Mom. Growing up as classmates at St. Patrick’s School with Anne, John and Mary Ellen, I remember her. A good heart has stopped beating, but a heart that has touched so many lives can't help but live on in those she loved. Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us in our hearts and memories. You “kids” are evidence of her legacy.
With Sympathy,
Marilyn (Costello) McNamara
