Obituary of Vincent Leuzze
Vincent Leuzze of Camillus passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Vince, who grew up in Central New York, left after graduation from North High School to join the United States Army where he proudly served during the Korean War. The next 40 years were spent in the telecommunication field, beginning with New York Telephone and retiring from AT&T.
He was a true conservative, serving as Chairman of the Conservative Party at different times, for the Towns of Camillus, Geddes and Onondaga as well as the Onondaga County Chairman. You always knew his position on any given issue and would never hesitate to discuss it with you.
Vince was all about family and loved them deeply while embracing his Italian heritage and culture which he passed onto his sons and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Marian, of 43 years. Sons, Michael (Stacey) of Colorado and Christopher (Mayette) of Florida; grandchildren, Vincent, Dominic, Annabella, Juliana, Sophia and Alexander. Also numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Vince was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Emily Leuzze, brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Eunice Leuzze and brother Cosmo Leuzze.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, October 14th from 3-5 PM at Edward J Ryan Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue, Syracuse. A funeral service will follow calling hours. Vince will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
He will be warmly remembered and missed by family and all who knew him and his legacy of love, faith and family will remain in the hearts of those he touched.
