Obituary of Sharon Ann Wrobel
Sharon Ann Wrobel, 80, of Camillus, NY, passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side, on August 7, 2024. Sharon was born on August 31, 1943 to Harold “Raj” and Dorothy (Samuel) Driscoll in Syracuse, New York. After Sharon graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, she went on to work for the NY Telephone Company, Divilla Slone School and then the Green Gate Inn. In October 1960, Sharon met Theodore “Ted” Wrobel and married in April 1964. Sharon and Ted went on to have three children, Mary, Margaret and Robert.
Sharon enjoyed most of her days being with and around her family.
Sharon was predeceased by both her parents, Harold and Dorthy, her daughter, Mary and her brother, Edward “Butch” and his wife, Noreen.
She is survived by her husband of 60 wonderful years, Ted, daughter, Margaret “Meg” (Edward) Priest, son, Robert “Rob,” four grandchildren; Alicia (James) Green, Matthew, Briana, and Michael, two great grandchildren; Logan and Lillian, brother, Patrick (Sandy) Driscoll, sisters, Kathleen (Jack) Kelleher and Margaret “Marg” (Charles) Celentano, and several nieces and nephews,
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 10am at St Patrick’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave. Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 12th from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
