Obituary of Edward J. Guckert

Edward J. Guckert, 79, of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday. He was born in Syracuse. He was retired from Iron Workers Local 60. He was a veteran of the US. Marine Corps. He is predeceased by his wife, Margaret, his parents, William and Estella and his brother, Rev. William Guckert. He is survived by his sisters, Bernice Rolince and Peggy Anderson, brother, Joe (Carol), many nieces and nephews, and step-children, Charles Calderala, Colleen Graham, and Carol Bergantzel. Services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10am at St. Ann's Church, Taunton. Private Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours will be Monday, 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Contributions in Edward's memory may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, 1 Childrens Cir., Syracuse, NY 13210.
