To all the McCurns- Aunt Nancy and my Cousins and their families-I will miss your wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather as well as my uncle and God father. Ken and I wish to express our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Uncle Neal was open-minded, trustworthy,moral, and compassionate: a man who always lived by his values. His brother John was so proud of him and taught us that living as an example of your beliefs was always the right thing to do. We will surely miss him!

The world has lost a great man and I have lost a wonderful mentor. I was privileged to serve as Judge McCurn\'s law clerk for 5 years. He taught me a great deal about the law and about life. His sense of humor was always present and his love of people was a true gift. My thoughts and prayers are with his familly.

I am a lawyer from Phoenix. I had the opportunity to appear before Judge McCurn many times during a long, complicated Indian land claim case that he handled from the early 1980's until the early 2000's. it was my experience that he was everything one could ask for in a judge: fair, courteous, well prepared, thoughtful and courageous in his decisions. RIP Judge McCurn.

Judge McCurn. He was unique in his ability to be such a wonderful family man, yet so accomplished in his career. He was unassuming, humble, funny, loving, kind, understanding, smart, generous, hard-working, compassionate. His DNA should be carefully studied as he carries a very dominant sense of humor gene which has passed down to each of his lovely fun-loving children that make our world a better place.
