Obituary of John J. Mondy

John J. Mondy, 89, of Syracuse died Monday, June 13, 2016. He was born in Kingston, PA and lived in Syracuse most of his life. John was a WWII Army Veteran, and retired from Pass & Seymour after 40 years. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man and an avid Yankee fan. He is survived by three sisters, Katherine Mondy, Margaret Haftner, Elizabeth Zaleppa and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:00am at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home; 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
