Obituary of Beth B. MacBain

Beth B. MacBain quietly left us in the morning on Friday June 13th, at St. Camillus Care Facility. She was born in Old Forge; and was a longtime resident of Tipperary Hill, Syracuse. She was a school secretary for the Syracuse City School District and was a member of West Genesee and Immanuel United Methodist Churches. She is predeceased by her husband, Lester MacBain, parents, Edith and Roscoe Backus, and sons, Kenneth and Richard MacBain. She is survived by her daughters, Edy (Pete) O'Brien, Linda MacBain, Patricia Babcock, son, Robert MacBain, daughter-in-law, Jean MacBain, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thanks to the staff of St. Camillus for treating our mother like family. You have shown her love and care these last four years. Private service will be held for the family.
