Obituary of Gertrude Parsnow

Gertrude "Trudy" Parsnow, 92, passed away on Monday, February 17. She resided most of her life in the Fairmount area of New York. Trudy was predeceased by her husband, Robert Parsnow and daughter, Joan Parsnow. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling and being at camp with her husband, Bob. She also selflessly was a caregiver to her dearest friends, Marge and Marion. Survivors include her son, James (Patrice) Parsnow, grandchildren, Todd and Chad Parsnow, her sister, Maggie Kelly, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Loretto Cunningham 9th floor staff for their fine care of Trudy. Family and friends can call Friday, February 21, at the Edward Ryan Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Avenue, from 10 to 11 AM. A short service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
