I just heard the news about John passing today. Every cell in my body exploded. John was one of my truest friends. We shared a lot of life together. I didn't know how much he meant to me until I realized I just can't get on the phone and call him. My condolences to all his family members. John was larger than life. I know he will reach down and touch us all someway. I'm still in disbelief.

So sorry for the loss that so many people are enduring, John meant so much to so many of us and will always be remembered for his many wild stunts, and the genuine friendship and the compassion he shared with so many people. I still remember his first Corvette and how proud and happy he was. My deepest condolences to the family and friends he left behind.

To the Family of John Cavanaugh
Thank you for sharing John with my family. Several years ago, my daughter said that she dreamed of someday going for a ride in an airplane. Shortly after contacting John, he made it happen. At 12 years old, not only did she ride in an airplane, she FLEW it and LANDED it! The only one with a bigger smile than my daughter was John! We will NEVER forget that trip, and now my daughter wants to become a pilot. John's memory will live on forever through so many of us that crossed his path! Once again, thank all of you for John. May you find peace and comfort in knowing how many loved him and will always remember him.
