Obituary of Jane A. Swete

Jane A. Swete, 77, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2014. Jane had a long career with Onondaga County where she retired as a Supervisor in the Medicaid Dept. She was a former communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church and belonged to CSEA and TAO (Transport Awareness Organization) of Rochester. Jane was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard T. Swete and daughter-in-law, Carolyn J. Swete. She is survived by her children, Thomas, Richard (Melody), Michael, Robert (Carolyn L.), and Casey (Nancy), eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, her sisters, Jerry Silvin and Jeanne (Jim) Keys, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 10am to 11:45 am on Friday, January 2, 2014 at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. A funeral service will be held at 11:45am at the funeral home immediately following calling hours. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
