When I was a Counselor at CBA, one of my colleagues (who's worked with Jim for 30+ years), told me that Jim was the best financial planner around. I took his advice, connected with Jim, and quickly realized that he is the best....but not just as a financial planner. He turned out to be a very good friend who I could count on, brainstorm with, trust, laugh with and bake for. He loved to talk about his family and grandkids and their next get together. He worked around my schedule and was there for me when I needed him for advice- especially at retirement time. He never failed in reaching out to me every 3 months to make sure I was set up for current and future success, and he genuinely cared about me and three or four of my other colleagues. We all love the (really tall) guy! He even advised my niece who he helped tremendously (I got her on board with him--'the best'--- two years ago). I loved meeting his brothers and family standing in line at Heid's last year, and taking their picture. What a great man Jim was. There are so many of us who share your loss. I already miss him. Sending love, strength and support!

I grew up with Eric and knew Jim as a father. He was a very kind, considerate, and genuine man. Godspeed to him and may his family find solace in knowing he will always be with them. May God welcome you with open arms Mr. Young.

I feel fortunate to have known Jim and am very saddened to hear of his passing. One of Jim's greatest gifts was the way he made others feel about themselves. His generosity, spirit, and love of life were evident in the relationships he cultivated. I am honored to have been one of his friends and will miss him. My prayers are with Donna and the family. My sympathies to Jim's friends and especially his family. I remember my teen years as a Lourdes Camp Counselor, when Jim was the new director. Sue & Jim were young newlyweds. Their faith, friendship, love & integrity was apparent and real. Integrity is a word that described Jim throughout his life. Jim and Sue: Great role models. My sympathies to Sue and Jim's family. Sincerely, Marilyn (Costello)
