It is with great sadness to say that I missed the serves of your son, I am deeply sorry. I am not one to read or follow obituaries but that doesn't soften the sorrow I feel for your family.
I did not know Pete personally, but I've gotten to know his father Jerry pretty well through our time together at Aspen Fitness. When Jerry spoke of Pete he spoke fondly. Jerry, you are a proud dad for the son you and your wife reared.
We love our children and the joy we get through their growth and life accomplishments. Stay strong my brother Jerry. My deepestIt sympathy to you and your family over this loss. If I know Jerry at all, their won't be a day that goes by without a fond memory you will have of your son Pete.

There are no words, at this time, to ease the pain. Although I worked, at HHHCC for only 6 months, I was ALWAYS thrilled when Peter worked on my shift. I never had to worry about the safety and care of the community’s residents. A kind, generous and compassionate man, Pete will be greatly missed by many.

I would like to say sorry to the family of peter. I knew him from working at the nursing home to. I work there every Wednesday and react with the people that lived there to. I have been at Hanover Hill Nursing home for 4 years in June will be my 5 year. I am really going to miss him and how he smiles at everyone to as well. God bless to everyone and he is in peace and not suffering or in pain either. he is with the Angels.

Peter recently cared for my mother at Hanover Hill before her passing a few weeks ago. She would often call out for him specifically, even when he was not there. He was an amazing caregiver and provided much peace to my mother at the end of her life. He was a genuine and a kind soul. Our entire family is saddened by the news of his passing.

Anna, Jerry and Mary- we are so upset by this news. We have so many stories and memories of Pete and Eric. When talking at dinner tonight Dave recalled how Jerry kept all the kids out of the cave at the MOST so they could have that spot for the boy scout sleepover...lol. I think my biggest memory is the two of them parachuting plastic army men off my deck and when they were older organizing paintball games in the woods. I am fairly certain that there was a lot of shenanigans we never heard about and also many many more stories that I could mention :) We are so saddened by this and hope you know that we are here if we can do anything at all to help. Hugs to you all.....

I know that your hearts must be broken. I cannot fathom the depth of grief you must be experiencing, but when I put myself in your shoes and think of how much you must be hurting I just keep stopping to pray that you will sense the nearness and comfort of God during in this dark valley. He cares so much for each of you and is listening to your every cry with compassion.

Our hearts go out to you...words fail to express how sad we are for you, and Mary, that your Pete has died.
People may say a lot of stupid things in response to such a sudden loss. Or, they may just be things that don’t resonate like ”God will not give you any more than you can handle,” and, “Everything happens for a reason.” (Nowhere in the Bible does God promise he will not give you more than you can handle.) Most people mean to be helpful, but sometimes what they may be saying is not.
Don and I just want to say that though you have suffered an incredible loss and traumatic heart break, you are still good people!
We pray that In the wake of this tragedy, you may find more love, generosity, and even gratitude than you ever thought possible.
