Obituary of Mark E. Henson

Mark E. Henson, 64, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2020 after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer.  He was a senior specialist and technical vendor for A.T.&T. and member of the AOPA and BAC.  He was a previous communicant of St. Brigid’s Church and current parishioner of St. Michaels - St. Peter’s Church.

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in 1993, and his MBA in 1998 from LeMoyne College and obtained his PMP in 2014. When younger he was a boxer and loved motorcycles, but his true passion was flying his plane; a Beech Craft Sundowner. 

Mark was a great man and he will be missed greatly by his friends and family.

Mark is predeceased by his mother, Lucy Henson.  He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kathi Henson, his sons, Timothy Collins (Daina) and Casey Collins, his father, James F. Henson, Sr., brothers, James Jr., Vincent, and Joseph, sister-in-law, Tina Henson, 2 grandchildren, Mark and Clara Collins, special-sister-in-law, Konnie and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Otisco, NY.
