Sarah, Paul, Tim and families, we were so sad to hear about the loss of your Mom. I met her when my parents Frank & Angie moved in to Camillus Ridge Terrace back in 2018. She made them, and my entire family, feel so welcome when they first moved in, and also every time after that I visited and spent time playing bingo, having ice cream, or hanging out in the common areas. She even came on a family Facetime to say hello one time, it was so great to see her!
She was so fun to talk with...every time I was there we would chat about you, Sarah, as I also live in California, so my Mom and yours had that in common. I even fantasized that one day maybe the two of them could travel out to the Bay Area together and we could all meet up!
She made such an impression on me I considered calling or writing her during the early days of the pandemic to check in and say hello; now I am sorry I did not. She was such an upbeat and positive person though, I know she would just tell me not to worry about it. That's just the kind of calming effect she had on me, and my parents, and I can see on many others who have written tributes here.
Your mom always put a smile on my face, and I hope reading these memories of her will do the same for you.

Dear DeMore Family,
My father, Bob Manning, wanted to send his condolences to you all. He of course had such wonderful and fun memories of your mom and dad. We all remember how often our mothers were together golfing and drinking coffee every morning at Friendly’s. If only we all knew what their conversations were all about! We remember your mother’s wonderful laugh too! My father wanted us to tell you he is saddened by your loss, but he knows your parents are together again and are happy in Heaven. Dear Sarah,Paul,and Tim,
We loved your mom and will miss her terribly! We all have been friends forever.
Kathy and Doreen since 6th grade and beyond Neal and George from 7th grade and beyond . The memories of ice skating at Onondaga Park , sledding behind the fire house, playing bridge, vacationing together the list goes on and on.

Oh, Kathy!!! What a joy to know her! You always knew you were going to have fun when Kathy was going to be there...her laugh alone, that lives in all of our hearts in those of us who knew and loved her puts a smile on our face even now. We got into so much trouble and had so much fun at MHR, so many good trips together, so many stories to tell over 60+ years! Kathy was one of a kind...she loved life, she loved her family, she loved her friends, and she loved God...all with a fierce passion and loyalty. We were in disbelief to hear of Kathy’s passing. The last time I was with her was when I took her to physical therapy while I was last in Camillus, and she was so vital and chatty. We looked at old photos I had found of the DeMore and Fenn couples that depicted such hilarious times we spent together. We laughed as we traded episodes of the many trips, near and far, that we took together. From the ride on the Orient Express to the ride up the Matterhorn, we loved it all. I will always remember her beautiful face with a great big smile going from ear to ear.
Our hearts go out to her family, who will miss her in their lives.
These are the times that are difficult being so far away.

Before this terrible pandemic that took her from you, my granddaughter and I would visit with her as a Eucharistic Minister from St.Joseph's Parish in Camillus. Our times together were so enjoyable.
