Q: How did you meet Joseph?
A: I met Joe when he applied to the Advance Auto in Fairmount. The second I shook his hand I knew I was hiring him. Joe was so smart, funny, confident, and always made my day so much easier to deal with. My own son is grown and lives several hours away and I don't get to see him often. Joe reminded me so much of him. We would talk for hours about work, life, cars, etc. He was so excited about heading to Georgia to start the next chapter in his life. We all missed him when he left but we were all so happy about the exciting opportunity he was heading to.
Joe lit up the store every time he walked through the doors. Every morning when I looked at the store schedule and saw Joe would be in I knew we were in for a fun day.
We will forever miss you buddy.

i had the pleasure of working with joseph as his occupational therapist at Split Rock elementary school until he finished third grade. Then he was redistricted to Onondaga Road. He was always a sweet, polite, funny young man. I can still see his signature in my mind as he signed thank you notes to me and written presents to his parents. Joseph, know you touched and enhanced so many peoples' lives.

Joe was an absolute sweetheart, he was loved and cared for by many people. He had a smile that could light up a whole room and make anyone smile. He always messed around and made jokes. He always knew how to have a good time and always made hanging out very entertaining.

A child is a gift from God, one he may call home at anytime. What we or he does with that dash between his birth & death is a journey lived with love.
