I am sure I am not the only member of the Lakeside Association who will miss Dennis' strong character and his sly wit. If you ever needed anything, Dennis had it - it was usually the right tool, but it could just as easily be sound advice. I'll miss sitting at the chairs, shooting the breeze, hearing about his family or his travels (go Vols). Dennis was a rock - stable, strong, dependable - but also kind. He will be missed.

Dennis was honest and kind. He was a really good guy who worked hard and was always there for those that he loved. I will miss the twinkle in Dennis' eyes when he talked about his family or was about to tell a joke. Chance made us neighbors and I feel blessed to have had Dennis and the Grogan/Abbott/Gigliotti family in my life. Sending you lots of hugs.

To Dottie and the Grogan family. As you know I had the pleasure of having Dennis on my staff during my six years at New Horizons. He was such a great guy and a pleasure to work with. We would spend a great deal of time talking about so many different things as he was such a well rounded man. We would often chat about his time working in Dover as we both had previously had an association with his boss (Lee). We would talk about the Hibernians, the annual Parade and so many other topics. All of us at New Horizons had such respect for Dennis and I can’t tell you how many times I said to him, “you can’t retire until I do”. I miss Dennis and our New Horizons family. My deepest sympathies to your family and May Dennis Rest In peace and may his memory be a blessing.

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you after hearing of Dennis' passing. He was always one of the best the AOH had to offer and a pleasure to socialize when I was able to attend various functions.
