So Sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. One of the most Kind, Thoughtful, Selfless and Great natured human being I have ever known. Chuck and Judy were ALWAYS there, no matter what time of day, for the firefighters at the scene and the unfortunate people who had to deal with a fire at their residence. Chuck gave so much of his time to help people in need and he did it for so many years without ever complaining or wondering what was in it for him. Truly one of a kind and a perfect role model for all the Post 280 explorers over the years. I will remember fondly all the conversations we at Station 3 had at the many fire scenes we responded to. I know he and Judy touched many people, including me and I know that in the years to come I will volunteer to help people in need because of the example he set! Nothing but fond memories!

We send our condolences to the entire Galloway family. Although we did not personally know Mr. Galloway, we most certainly know his grandson , Coach John Galloway. Coach G is a young man of strength, courage, faith, honour and humility. I suspect John Galloway wakes each day and asks, “ How do I honour my family today?”, a lesson only learned in families of great character. I did not know Mr. Galloway but I do know his son, Joe, his daughter in law, Anne, and his grandson, John. They are a great family and I can't imagine anything less about what Mr. Galloway meant to his family. Joe was there when my father died and we are here for him. Much love and support, Tom and Patty.

In 1969, when I was just 17, I met my soon to be sister-in-law, Judy and her husband Chuck. This began a friendship that would span almost 50 years! Chuck and Judy would be there for me and my family throughout the decades. Always there to help, advise and support me through the good, bad, happy and sad times.
They were my Constant and always there to show me love. THEY WERE MY ROCK!
Sadly, his 6 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, The Syracuse Fire Dept, family and friends and many organizations, all mourn his passing.
He was one of the Really Good Guys!
My life will be emptier with Chuck gone. But his kindness, goodness and love will continue on through his legacy, in ALL of his children! My prayers, my love and my heart are with Judy and my nieces and nephews. I love and miss you all….My deepest, deepest sympathy… Watch over me Chuck!!
