Dear Suzanne and Craig,
My sincere condolences for your loss. Your dad was a fine man whose kindness and humor endeared him to all. I still smile remembering one time when I stayed for delicious meatloaf dinner at your house. Ron, with dramatic airs of refinement, dusted off an old pillar candle, placed it in the center of your cozy kitchen tabletable and lit it to "make me feel at home". Evidently, my family's practice of candlelit dinners (to compensate for poor lighting more than faux elegance!!) had made an impression. He and your mother were both good neighbors and wonderful people.
