Obituary of Ronald R. Stevens

Ronald R. Stevens, 85, lifetime resident of Syracuse joined his one true love, his wife, Alta, on Saturday, May 10th. Ron died peacefully in his home. He was a 50 year member of Local #376 IATSE-MPMO, a projectionist in virtually every movie theater in Syracuse, a 32nd degree Mason, and Ron proudly served in the US Army Special Services, 147th Infantry, Company G at Ft. Dix, NJ in the early 1950s. But according to him, his best years were spent working at Mike's TV and Appliance in Syracuse. Calling hours and a memorial service will be held at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Friday, May 16th from 5 to 7pm. Join his children, Suzanne Thayer and Craig Stevens, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
